RIDGEFIELD — Picture lovers can learn how to take better photos on their cell phones at a new workshop, “The Art of Phoneography,” at Weir Farm National Historic Site.
Visiting Artist Xiomáro will hold this workshop three times this year, beginning from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The other workshops will be at the same time July 7 and Sept. 23. Registration is required.
Xiomáro, a nationally-exhibited photographer, will provide tips and tools for participants to create dynamic, artistic photos using their smartphone. Point-and-shoot cameras and professional DSLRs are welcome, but the workshop is primarily designed to take advantage of the smartphone camera.
Register for the free event by calling 203-834-1896 ext. 28.
