Hisense has announced a new batch of 4K ULED model TVs for 2019, and if you’re looking to pick up a higher-end Android TV without breaking the bank, these models just might interest you.
You’ll be able to pick from the H8F and H9F models in sizes running all the way up to 65 inches, and there’s plenty of Android software to bring you in, too.
Both models support Dolby Vision and HDR10 for modern HDR content, plus full array local dimming to make those HDR scenes pop. The H8F peaks at 700 nits of brightness, while the H9F peaks at 1000 nits. Both of which are pretty good for HDR, and they’re 4K models for high resolution viewing, with or without the HDR.
You’re getting Google Assistant baked right in on top of Android TV, so you can use your television as a pseudo-Google Home to control your smart stuff. Thermostats, music, you name it; Android TV is really starting to shine on the big screen, and Google Assistant only makes it better. There’s some Amazon Alexa support here, too, so don’t feel hemmed in with Google’s offerings.
The H8F is currently already available on Best Buy and Amazon’s website, with the H9F set to follow in June. The higher-end model delivers higher refresh rates (120hz native panel with 480hz motion processing) and a wider color gamut, plus wider viewing angles and quantum dot pixels.
The H8F starts at $499 for the 55-inch, while the 65-inch will run $699. The 55-inch and 65-inch H9F models will be $699 and $999, respectively, when they launch in Best Buy stores next month.
