MANILA — Google’s machine learning-powered smart campaigns is now available in the Philippines and the rest of the Asia Pacific, promising to make digital advertising easier for small businesses, the internet giant said.

With smart campaigns, Goolge said small businesses could advertise their website or Google+ page on Maps and Search with a specific goal in mind: customer calls, store visits or actions on the advertiser’s website.

A smart campaign can be set up in as fast as 15 minutes, Google said on its website. An advertisers pays only when ads are clicked.

“Smart campaigns is designed for small businesses looking to get started with online advertising,” Google Philippines said in a statement.

“The experience is simple, saves businesses time as they can set up a campaign in a matter of minutes, and drives clear results like calls, actions on their website and visits to their stores,” it said.

Machine learning works behind the scenes to “optimize the campaign and drive results,” according to the statement.

Smart campaigns is three times better at getting ads in front of the right audience, Google said.
