While it’s thought that the Galaxy Note 9 will launch on August 9 at an event in New York, it’s also believed that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Tab S4 during IFA later in the same month. This will be 18 months since its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab S3, was unveiled during MWC 2017. It also means that we can expect to see more leaks on Samsung’s newest flagship tablet, such as today’s leaked image of the Tab S4 along with reports of DeX support and an iris scanner.
According to a post on Weibo, the image above is a picture taken of the front of the Galaxy Tab S4 which appears to be running Android 8.1 Oreo and Samsung Experience version 9.5. According to the same post, the Galaxy Tab S4 has an iris scanner, along with support for DeX, Samsung’s desktop productivity platform.
We expect to see the Galaxy Tab S4 launch running a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, a display with 16:10 aspect ratio, a 13MP rear camera, and an 8MP front-facing camera. The tablet could also sport 4-channel AKG Dolby Surround sound, although has not been confirmed yet.
We are still a couple of months away from IFA 2018, where it is thought that the Galaxy Tab S4 will be unveiled, so you can probably expect to see a few more leaks and rumors in the meantime. What would you like to see with the Galaxy Tab S4?
