IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THIS GAME

  • Southgate Drive and Washington Street will be running one way – off campus – from approximately 3 pm until one hour after the football game. Access to Lots 1 and 2 will not be permitted during this time.
  • Public Parking should use the Prices Fork Lot (Lot 20). Shuttles will be provided pre and post game. If arriving before Washington Street or Southgate Drive opens, permit holders should park in the Prices Fork Lot (Lot 20).
  • Basketball parking permits will be permitted in the lots after the football game traffic has cleared and as space permits.
  • Gates will not open until 4 PM.

LOT 1 POST GAME TRAFFIC PATTERNS

  • Traffic exiting Lot 1 onto Beamer Way (near Lane Stadium) will only be allowed to turn right.
  • Traffic exiting Lot 1 onto Washington Street (near McComas) will only be allowed to turn left.
  • No traffic will be permitted to turn onto Beamer Way from Washington Street.

CLEAR BAG POLICY

Virginia Tech changed its security regulations this season for all sports and will limit fans to one clear plastic bag no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches or a one-gallon, clear, resealable plastic storage bag per person.

Fan Services

A merchandise and apparel store is located between Sections 4 & 6. Items can also be purcahsed on-line at shop.hokiesports.com.

Concessions are located throughout Cassell Coliseum. Vendors include:

  • Tropical Smoothie
  • Papa John’s
  • Hokie Fit
  • Virginia Tech Dairy Club

An ATM is located inside the councourse near Section 3.

Fans needing assistance inside Cassell Coliseum can contact the event management staff by sending a text to (540) 739-0089 with a description of your issue or incident and your location within the arena, including the section, row and seat number. You will receive a replay indicating your message was received and help is on the way. Standard SMS rates apply.

The Fan Text Message System begins operating an hour and a half prior to tipoff.

Police, ushers and event security personnel are stationed throughout the arena to provide assistance to fans during basketball games.

A First aid station is location outside Section 2. There is a doctor on call at all times (540) 231-4915. Fans can ask for assistance from rescue squad members stationed around the arena. Event staff members are available to help in locating first aid assistance.

This is a service provided by Virginia Tech Athletics and the Virginia Tech Rescue Squad.

Items can be claimed following the game and items not claimed will be kept until the end of the season. To contact lost and found throughout the season, contact one of the following departments: Game Operations – (540) 231-6728, or Virginia Tech Police Department – (540) 231-6411.

In case you get separated from your family or friends, please plan ahead to have two designated meeting places, one inside the arena (such as your gate, seat or favorite concession stand) and another outside the arena (such as a predetermined landmark like the Cassell Coliseum bus circle or a parking space). If you need assistance, contact the nearest usher or police officer.
