Apple is widely expected to unveil three new iPhone X varieties later this year.
In addition to refreshing the current iPhone X, the Cupertino-based company has also been heavily rumoured to debut an iPhone X with a bigger screen.
Many have said this device could be called the iPhone X Plus.
But speculation has also been ripe the tech giant could debut a third iPhone that would tout less premium features and be priced lower than the other iPhone X models.
Now it appears Apple fans early awaiting to see what the company has in store for its smartphone line have been given their best look yet.
Renowned YouTuber Marques Brownlee recently uploaded a video where he showed off alleged dummy models of the forthcoming iPhones.
He insisted he received the units “from the same sources as last year that turned out to be pretty accurate”.
Brownlee emphasised three new iPhones will likely be unveiled later this year and he compared the size differences between the models.
He showed off the larger iPhone X model that is rumoured to boast a gigantic 6.5-inch OLED display – the hardware retains all the design aspects from the regular iPhone X but does so while maintaining a larger footprint.
The YouTuber also showed off what he claimed was the cheaper iPhone X model that will feature a 6.1-inch screen.
However, the panel on the cheaper variant is predicted to be LED rather than the OLED present on the current iPhone X.
This could allow Apple to sell the device at a cheaper price point.
Although the phone is alleged to tout an all-screen design similar to the current iPhone X, an LED panel would be unable to achieve the same levels of clarity found in an OLED.
Most notably, the cheaper iPhone model presented by Brownlee only features one camera sensor on its rear.
This would represent a huge divergence from the current iPhone X model that features a dual-lens setup.
The added camera on the iPhone X allows it to take photos that retain more detail when the user zooms in thanks to the added telephoto lens.
Bokeh effects can also be captured with the dual-lens snapper that allow for Apple’s signature “Portrait Mode” shots.
Previous sources had suggested the cheaper iPhone could be available in a greater variety of colours.
Macotakara insisted the variant will sell in white, black, flash yellow, bright orange, electric blue and taupe colours.
Meanwhile the refreshed iPhone X and iPhone X Plus are expected to keep things more simple with black, white and gold options only being available.
Fans eagerly anticipating a new iPhone announcement will not have to wait long.
It is presumed Apple will unveil its next generation of smartphones next month.
